CIVIL WAR ENCAMPMENT AT THE CHERRY VALLEY MUSEUM JULY 17TH & 18TH.
"Life of the Common Soldier during the Civil War". Company H, 76th NYSVI and Co.C, 2nd USSS, will jointly hold an event at the Cherry Valley Museum, 49 Main Street, Cherry Valley.
We voted to make this a MAX EFFORT Event ! We need everyone to turn out to support this effort.
Water, wood provided, coffee in morning. Camp behind the museum, 49 Main street, walking distance from restaurants, and stores. Porch party at Captain Thompsons' house 72 Alden Street at 8:00 P.M. Saturday night. BYOB and folding chair/stool. Captain will supply light snacks.

Saturday, July 17th
9:30 a.m. Camp open to public.
9:30 to 11 a.m. Troop drilling & camp impressions.
Walking tour of Cherry Valley Cemetery, Civil War
soldiers by Capt. Thompson.
11: a.m. Shooting demo 76th NYSVI.
12 Noon Lunch.
1 to 2 p.m. Wreath laying at Town center monument.
3 p.m. Drill and shooting demo 76th NYSVI.
4 to 6 p.m. Camp life- Camp impressions.
6 p.m. Camp Closes.
Sunday, July 18th
9:30 a.m. Camp open to public.
10 to 10:30 a.m. Wreath laying ceremony & church service at cemetery.
11: a.m. Walking tour Cherry Valley cemetery, Civil War soldiers, by Capt.Thompson
12 Noon Lunch.
1 to 2 p.m. Company H drill & shooting demo.
2 p.m. wreath laying ceremony at Col.Swan's grave, Cherry Valley cemetery.
3 to 4 p.m. Camp life & camp impressions.
4 p.m. Camp closes.
